Denver, CO ā Today, Michael Bennetās campaign for Colorado governor announced it raised overĀ $1.7 millionĀ in the second quarter, setting an off-year record in Colorado. The campaign ends the quarter with more thanĀ $1.3 million in cash on hand.

MichaelĀ launchedĀ his campaign for governor on April 11th. Since then, more thanĀ 130 Colorado leadersĀ have endorsed Michael, and more than 6,400 grassroots donors have joined his campaign. In June, aĀ pollĀ from Global Strategy Group found that Michael holds a commanding 31-point lead over state Attorney General Phil Weiser in the Democratic primary.
Representing Colorado in the U.S. Senate since 2009, Michael has established himself as an independent leader who delivers tangible results for Colorado. Prior to his time in the Senate, Michael helped improve student achievement as the superintendent of the Denver Public Schools, balance the City of Denverās budget, and turn around failing businesses in the private sector. Re-elected in 2022 by 15 points, Michael has a record of winning tough elections while staying true to his values and positions.
