Since launching his campaign, Michael has earned the support of more than 220 Colorado leaders and organizations, including more major labor endorsements than any other candidate in the race. Michael is building the broad coalition needed to win this election and deliver real change for Colorado families.
Michael has earned the support of these key leaders because he has spent his career bringing people together to get things done. Side-by-side with Colorado communities, he has protected 700,000 acres of public lands, led the fight to hold ICE accountable, and brought home billions of dollars in federal funding for key projects across the state. As Governor, Michael will tackle Colorado’s biggest challenges head-on by ensuring no Colorado pays more than 30% of their income on housing, launching a real public option to lower health care costs, placing a cap on emissions through a cap-and-invest program, and transforming Colorado’s education system to give students the skills they need to earn a living wage.
