The Colorado Democratic Primary Election is Tuesday, June 30, 2026. Ballots were mailed to eligible voters beginning June 8, and all voted ballots must be received by your county clerk or dropped off at an official ballot drop box by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. Postmarks do not count.
Who Can Vote?
- Registered Democrats can vote in the Democratic Primary.
- Unaffiliated voters will receive both Democratic and Republican primary ballots and may choose which primary to participate in – but can only return one ballot. If both ballots are returned, neither will be counted.

You can:
- Return your completed ballot at any official drop box in your county.
- Vote in person at a Voter Service and Polling Center.
- Obtain a replacement ballot, if needed.
Important Election Dates
June 8 – Ballots begin mailing to voters
June 22 – Voting centers begin opening in counties across Colorado
June 30 – Election Day – ballots due by 7:00 p.m.
