Bennet Brings in More Than 10,000 Donations; 91% of Donations Are $100 or Less
DENVER, CO â Today, Michael Bennetâs campaign for Colorado Governor announced it raised more than $778,000 from over 10,000 donations in the third reporting period of his campaign. This quarterâs fundraising underscores Michaelâs powerful grassroots support with more contributions, more unique donors, and the lowest average contribution of any major candidate running for Governor.
With an average donation of $81 and more than 91% of contributions coming in at $100 or less this quarter, Michaelâs campaign has the momentum and support of grassroots Coloradans across the state. Michael does not accept donations from corporate PACs or federal lobbyists, and just this quarter, nearly 4,000 contributions came from new donors to his growing campaign.
âMichael is running for Governor to protect Colorado from Donald Trumpâs chaos and deliver a stronger, more affordable future for our state â and his robust grassroots support shows that Coloradans are behind him,â said Bennet for Governor Campaign Manager Nellie Moran. âMichael has the vision and the experience to not just combat Donald Trumpâs attacks on our state, but also build a better future that delivers the results working families deserve â from affordable housing to accessible child care to stronger schools.â
In 2025, Michael secured over 27,000 donations from more than 15,000 individuals and surpassed a major campaign milestone by earning the endorsements of 206 Colorado leaders, including Senator John Hickenlooper, Congressman Joe Neguse (CO-2), Congressman Jason Crow (CO-6), Congresswoman Brittany Pettersen (CO-7), 30 state legislators, 29 mayors, 28 county commissioners, 23 city councilmembers, and 11 school board members. Michael is also the only candidate with the support of major labor unions, underscoring his commitment to delivering for working Coloradans as Governor.
As the campaign enters the election year, Michael will travel to every corner of the state to meet with voters and share his vision for Colorado.
