Georgia U.S. Senators Ossoff and Warnock Endorse Michael Bennet for Governor

DENVER, CO – Today, Georgia U.S. Senators Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock endorsed Michael Bennet for Colorado Governor. 

“I’m grateful to my colleagues Jon and Raphael for their support in this race. They are exactly the kind of leaders our party needs—speaking truth to power, fighting for change, and keeping working people at the center of their agenda every day,” said Michael Bennet.

“I’m proud to endorse Michael Bennet for Governor. As a voice for Colorado in the Senate, Michael is a proven leader who knows how to deliver for everyday people—including helping pass the expanded Child Tax Credit, which cut child poverty nearly in half. As Governor, Michael will be the same independent-minded voice focused on creating opportunity for all Coloradans,” said Senator Warnock.

Rising leaders in the Democratic Party, Senators Ossoff and Warnock were both elected in 2021, helping secure the Senate majority for Democrats. Michael and Warnock partnered in 2021 to pass the expanded Child Tax Credit in the American Rescue Plan, which cut taxes for 96% of Colorado families with children and lifted millions of kids out of poverty. Michael and Ossoff continue leading the fight to ban members of Congress from trading individual stocks.
