As a Political Campaign Intern, you will work closely with campaign staff to support outreach, communications, organizing, event building, candidate preparation, and voter engagement efforts. This role is ideal for students and recent graduates eager to gain real-world experience in electoral politics and grassroots campaigning.
Key Responsibilities:
Interns may be involved in a wide range of campaign tasks, including but not limited to:
- Drafting and proofreading campaign materials and social content
- Assisting with event planning and coordination
- Helping manage volunteer databases and tracking systems
- Attending strategy and team meetings
- Conducting research on policy issues, districts, and demographics
- Supporting community engagement initiatives
- Assisting with field and volunteer outreach efforts
- Supporting voter contact programs (phone calls, texting, canvassing)

Ideal candidates are:
- Energetic, self-starter team players
- Have an interest in and a baseline knowledge about Colorado politics, public service, and civic engagement
- Strong communicators (written and verbal)
- Ability to work remotely
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate student or recent graduate
- Interest in political campaigns, public policy, or community organizing
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Previous volunteer or political experience is helpful but not required
- Familiarity with NGP VAN or other political organizing platforms is helpful but not required
