Michael Bennet seeks a Political Associate to work with the Political Team and help manage and execute the political strategy for his gubernatorial campaign. This full-time/part-time position is based in Denver, CO and will help the Political Team manage events, endorsements, caucus plans, volunteers, and field strategy.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Help organize Political strategy components of the campaign.
- Work on memorandums and details surrounding events to prepare the candidate and campaign team.
- Manage relationships with the volunteer base and build the volunteer pool.
- Help develop event details: graphics, planning, coordination.
- Keep track of call notes and utilize them to develop further call time.
- Plan and maintain an event database.
- Organize endorsements and help deploy surrogates to events across the state.
Ideal Candidates Will:
- Be creative, detail-oriented, and strong writers
- Have experience with ActBlue, Mobilize, and Microsoft Suite.
- Thrive in a fast-paced campaign environment and remain flexible for rapid response and breaking news.
- Be collaborative, positive, and able to maintain a sense of humor under pressure.
- (Preferred but not required) Have ties to Colorado or Spanish-language proficiency.
- (Preferred) Have previous experience working on political campaigns, in advocacy organizations, or in digital agencies.
Expected Salary Range: $4,000-$5,000 monthly
