Michael Bennet seeks a Digital Director to manage and execute the digital strategy for his gubernatorial campaign. This full-time position is based in Denver, CO and will lead all aspects of the campaign’s online presence—including social media, video, content creation, digital advertising, and online fundraising. The monthly salary for this role is $9,000-10,000.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy to engage voters, grow our audience, and raise online.
- Oversee and draft social media content across all platforms.
- Write and produce digital-first videos, including scripting, filming, and editing content for rapid response and planned campaigns.
- Manage the campaign website and ensure content is updated and optimized.
- Capture and edit photo and video content, including at campaign events.
- Plan and maintain a digital content calendar that integrates social media, email, and advertising campaigns.
- Coordinate with the digital advertising, digital fundraising, and paid media teams.
- Collaborate closely with the communications, political, and finance teams to ensure digital efforts support the broader campaign.
Ideal Candidates Will:
- Be creative, detail-oriented, and strong writers with excellent storytelling skills.
- Have experience with Adobe Creative Suite, basic graphic design, and video production.
- Understand digital fundraising platforms and social media best practices.
- Thrive in a fast-paced campaign environment and remain flexible for rapid response and breaking news.
- Be collaborative, positive, and able to maintain a sense of humor under pressure.
- (Preferred but not required) Have ties to Colorado or Spanish-language proficiency.
- (Preferred) Have previous experience working on political campaigns, in advocacy organizations, or in digital agencies.
